7-day Foundation Workshop

This is for massage therapists and canine care professionals, as well as people who are in "vocational transition" and would like to learn PetMassage_™ to create businesses. This workshop is a good start and/or continuation of your canine-and human-massage education. It focuses on the skills and information you will need to professionally and confidently work with a variety of dog issues. You will learn to massage dogs. You will learn to help your clients learn to massage their dogs.

In this workshop we cover basic anatomy and physiology of dogs, Western, Asian and esoteric massage techniques and theories. Also included is specific PetMassage_™ applications for many canine conditions. This course is a personal development and enrichment class through the medium of canine bodywork. Movement and breathing exercises expand your sensory and spiritual awareness' and develop healthy body mechanics. Ethics, business marketing strategies, and a field trip to a humane society complete the course. Bring your own dogs to class or we provide a dog for you. Certificates are awarded upon completion of the workshop, a take-home test and documentations of ten canine massages.

6-Day Advanced PetMassage_™ Workshop

This workshop is designed to assist you further along your personal journey through your PetMassage_™ practice. This workshop is for people who have already completed the Foundation workshop. PetMassage_™ students review, update and learn additional skills and techniques to expand their PetMassage_™ businesses. This course refreshes and rekindles the excitement and enthusiasm you felt when you completed your last 6-day Foundation workshop with us. The prerequisites for this course are completion of the Foundation workshop and a minimum of 2 months experience since taking the first workshop. The Home Study courses may not be substituted for the hands-on workshop.

5-Day WaterWork for Dogs

PetMassage™ WaterWork 5-Day is a very specialized course that helps students develop skills to massage dogs in water. Learn to understand and access water's dynamics, flexibility and therapeutic value. This workshop teaches how to move in and be moved by water expanding beyond all your land-based physical and spiritual connections with dogs. These skills and perspectives will place you in the crest of a new "wave" of awareness and appreciation of the yin qualities and power of water when working with dogs. No prerequisites for this workshop.
