Our 7-day Foundation level workshops are professional level training. PetMassage™ is a hands-on skill that is best learned one on one in a workshop or classroom setting. 7-Day Foundation Workshops:
This is for massage therapists and pet care professionals, as well as people who are in "vocational transition" and would like to learn PetMassage™ to create businesses.
This workshop is a good start and/or continuation of your animal-and human-massage education. It focuses on the skills and information you will need to professionally and confidently work with a variety of dog issues. You will learn to massage dogs. You will learn to help your clients learn to massage their dogs.
Bring your own dogs to class. Certificates are awarded upon completion of the workshop, a take-home test and documentation of ten canine massages.
In this course we cover basic anatomy and physiology of dogs, Western, Asian and esoteric massage techniques and theories. Also included are specific PetMassage™ applications for many canine conditions.
This course is a personal development and enrichment class through the medium of canine bodywork. Move-ment and breathing exercises expand your sensory and spiritual awareness' and develop healthy body mechanics. Ethics, business marketing strategies, and a field trip to a humane society complete the course.
Days and times: Sunday through Saturday classes: 9 AM to 4 PM with breaks for lunch.
Workshop fee: $1400 per person (50 CEUs for MTs). (25% discount for repeat students)

* If you have previously purchased these training materials we will reduce the workshop fee for the cost of those materials.
Each Workshop is held at the PetMassage™ Headquarters, Toledo, Ohio.
Class hours:
Sunday through Saturday classes: 9 AM to 4 PM with breaks
for lunch.

- If there are less than 4 students enrolled, the PetMassage™ Headquarters will not hold the workshops. If you have paid your deposit for a workshop, it will be applied to another class that is convenient to your schedule.
