Statement of Purpose/Vision for PetMassage for Dogs WaterWork Workshop

PetMassage WaterWork Workshop objectives are to develop tactile and perceptual skills to facilitate dogs' natural healing abilities and tendencies. PetMassage in water, is a most powerful application of canine massage.

PetMassage WaterWork is a very specialized course that helps students develop skills to apply massage to dogs in water; also known as dog therapy in water. Students first learn basic concepts and techniques for land PetMassage. Then they adapt these skills to water, understanding water's dynamics, flexibility and therapeutic value. This course teaches how to move in and be moved by air in the land PetMassage introduction. Then we learn to move in and be moved and supported by water. The water experience expands beyond all previous land-based physical and spiritual connections with dogs. These skills and perspectives will place you in the crest of a new "wave" of awareness and appreciation of the yin qualities and power of water when working with animals. They will place you in the vanguard of a new "wave" of awareness and appreciation of the power of water and its yin characteristics.
